Jhadsar Bara is a small village of 549 hectares in Taranagar Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhadsar Bara depends on TARANAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jhadsar Bara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Jhadsar Bara's pin code is 331023[4], and village code is 00581300.
