Jethantari is a small village of 1474 hectares in Siwana Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jethantari depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 263.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jethantari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Jethantari's pin code is 344027[4], and village code is 02159600. The area of Jethantari is segregated as 263 hectares irrigated area, 543 hectares unirrigated, the 158 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 510 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jethantari is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2505 and has total administration over 424 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BALOTRA and Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
