JetPunk is a trivia website that allows users to take quizzes on a variety of subjects. JetPunk was originally an online travel website, launched in 2006. In 2008, H Brothers, Inc. turned JetPunk into an online trivia website. Users can take and make quizzes on the website. The company's headquarters are located in Seattle. receives over 1,500,000 visitors a month, contributing above 30,000,000 page views per month. [1]


Quizzes on JetPunk require the user to name all of the items within a given subject, or select a correct answer given a clue.

Players can play quizzes with or without a timer. Quizzes come in five game types: Text Quiz, Picture Quiz, Multiple Choice Quiz, Tile Select Quiz, and Map Quiz.

To date, the most popular quiz on JetPunk is "Countries of the World Quiz", created by user Quizmaster, which has been played over 13 million times.[2]


Users who have an account level up as they play featured quizzes, quizzes which were or will be put on the website's front page.

Quizzes can be featured by Dan Hostetler, owner of JetPunk, or Stewart. When a quiz is featured, users can earn a maximum of 5 points from it, depending on their performance.

Leveling up is currently possible in 8 of the languages offered by JetPunk.


The trivia on JetPunk fall into 7 main categories: Geography, History, English Language, Sports, Movie, Music, and Television. Geography is the largest quiz category by number of quizzes.

Since 2008, JetPunk users have taken over 190 million quizzes and the website receives approximately 300,000 page views every day.[3]


Registering on the website is optional and free and by creating an account, one can create quizzes, have their stats tracked, earn accomplishment badges, comment, and rate quizzes.

Premium membership is also available. It unlocks a few more functions such as Quiz Analytics.


JetPunk currently has a total of 27 badges that require users to obtain a certain score on selected quizzes. Badges relate to a specific topic, such as flags or video games.

On November 8th, 2019, JetPunk partnered with Trees for the Future. JetPunk donates 5% of their revenue to Trees for the Future, which helps people in Africa plant forest gardens. [4]

A counter of trees planted is placed at the top of the JetPunk homepage, below the quizzes taken counter. As of 3 January 2020, a total of 87,837 trees have been planted.
