In the general election held on November 8, 2022, she contested against the incumbent, Carol Hagan McEntee, a Democrat. Carol Hagan McEntee secured 61.1% of the votes with a total of 4,258 votes, while Jessica Drew-Day received 38.8% with 2,702 votes. The total votes cast in the election were 6,967. Carol Hagan McEntee was re-elected to represent District 33.[7]
