In 2022, Navarro ran in the Republican primary for Florida's 24th congressional district but was defeated by Lavern Spicer.[2]

Navarro secured the Republican nomination for Florida's 24th congressional district in 2024, defeating Patricia Gonzalez in the primary with 56.8% of the vote.[3] He advanced to the general election to face incumbent Democrat Frederica Wilson.[4]
