Jerry Uchechukwu Eze (born: 22 August 1982) popularly known as Pastor Jerry (PJ) is a Nigerian Christian Televangelist and the founder and Senior Pastor of Streams of Joy International Church with headquarters at Umuahia in Abia State of Nigeria.[1][2]

Eze is also the Lead Convener/Anchor of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD) - a live online daily morning devotional prayer platform.[3] His prophetic prayer ministry is popularly associated with the mantra: What God Cannot Do Does Not Exist.[4][5] His church also engages in Community Charity Outreach and Philanthropy.[6]

Early Life and Family

Eze was born on 22 August 1982.[7] He hails from Item Town in Bende, Nigeria Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria. Eze completed his Secondary School at Ibeku High School in Umuahia and then proceeded to the university. He graduated from Abia State University with a BA in History and International Relations and also completed MSc in Human Resource Management.[8]

Eze is married to Pastor Eno Jerry and they have two children: Samara and Jerry Jnr. His wife Pastor Eno hails from Efik people, Calaba, Cross River State, Nigeria.[9]

Career

After graduating from the university, Eze worked briefly as a broadcaster and later worked also with the United Nations and World Bank before resigning to go into full time Christian Church Ministry in 2009. His pastoral career began while still in the university and he went on to become the student Campus Pastor of his university Chapel - All Saints Chapel.[8]

In 2013 Pastor Jerry together with his wife Pastor Eno founded the Streams of Joy International Church at Umuahia in Abia State of Nigeria with branches now across Nigeria: Streams of Joy Abuja, Federal Capital Territory; Streams of Joy Aba, Imo State; Streams of Joy Owerri, Imo State; Streams of Joy Uyo, Cross River State; as well as across North America: Streams of Joy Atlanta, USA; Streams of Joy Houston-Texas, USA; Streams of Joy New York City, USA; Streams of Joy Calgary, Canada; Streams of Joy Edmonton, Canada; and also across Europe: Streams of Joy Birmingham, UK and Streams of Joy Nottingham, UK.
