Jenny Nicholson is an American content creator and actress. She co-created, among other things, the 2011 web series Friendship is Witchcraft. Nicholson specializes in documentary-style deep dives, pop culture analyses and video essay takes.[1] Formerly active on YouTube, she now publishes primarily on Patreon,[1] after copyright claims had impacted her income.[2] Nicholson uploaded her first videos in 2011.[3] She is known for her wit, thoroughness, and tendency of wearing costumes themed to her videos.[4] Her 2020 video The Last Bronycon: a fandom autopsy was nominated for a Hugo Award for Best Related Work.[5] In 2022, The Daily Beast lauded her video essay about The Vampire Diaries.[6] Nicholson has worked as a host for Millennial Falcon, a Screen Junkies program.[7]
