Jehan Handa[1] is an Indian writer, filmmaker and entrepreneur from New Delhi, India. He has been writing shows and films for Indian television and Film and runs his boutique hotel, Villa 33[2]

Biography

Handa was born and bred in Delhi. He did his schooling at the British School in New Delhi and obtained his Bachelors in Fine Arts(Hons) from Full Sail University and Rollins College in Florida. Handa worked as a Creative Director on Kedarnath[3] and Love Aaj Kal[4] He is currently writing Sarzameen[5] and Showtime[6]

Handa also worked onDastak, a television show where his father, Vipin Handa[7] presented the problems of the unfortunate such as rape victims, child sex workers and those suffering from medical negligence and old age. Dastak offered a telephone number with counselors to provide support to callers. After Dastak went off air, Handa worked closely on Koshish Foundation, which provided education to unemployed adolescent girls all over India.

Handa's foray into the hospitality industry has been with a boutique bed and breakfast called Villa 33 [8] He plans to continue this endeavour with more such properties all over India.
