Jeffrey Norman Vahle (/vɑːli/; born June 10, 1963)[1] is an American executive who is President of Walt Disney World Resort[2]. Before joining Disney, Jeff was a plant engineer at Eastman Chemicals in Columbia, SC. He joined Disney at Walt Disney World in 1990 as a Senior Engineer at Magic Kingdom. After a series of roles he was named Vice President, Global Maintenance, in 1998. He was later promoted to Executive Vice President of Facilities and Operations Services for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide before being named President of Disney Cruise Line in 2018 and then to President Walt Disney World Resort May 2020.

After Bob Iger stepped down as CEO February 25, 2020, Bob Chapek was announced at his successor. This led to a leadership shuffle and in May 2020 Josh D'Amaro was promoted to Chairman, and Jeff Vahle stepped into the newly vacant role as President of Walt Disney World Resort.

Education

Vahle graduated[3] from Auburn University in 1985 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and received his MBA from Rollins College in 1994.

Personal life

He resides in Windermere, Florida, with his wife, Harriet, and their three children.

Vahle is on the Board of Trustees at Rollins College [4]
