Jedla is a small village of 263 hectares in Ghatol Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jedla depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Jedla is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jedla's pin code is 327023[4], and village code is 03394300. The area of Jedla is segregated as 227 hectares irrigated area, 4 hectares unirrigated, the 15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jedla is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2033 and has total administration over 425 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
