Jazz

Jazz is a musical genre that originated in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries in African-American communities in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Its roots can be traced back to African-American communities in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States, during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. As a significant form of musical expression in both traditional and popular music, jazz has been acknowledged since the 1920s Jazz Age, when it was tied together by the shared ties of African American and European American cultural origin. Swing and blue notes, complex chords, call and answer singers, polyrhythms, and improvisation are all characteristics of jazz music. In West African cultural and musical expression as well as African-American musical traditions, jazz has its origins.
