Jaydoo is a small village of 3428 hectares in Ramsar Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jaydoo depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jaydoo is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jaydoo's pin code is 344001[4], and village code is 02228600. The area of Jaydoo is segregated as 3227.9 hectares unirrigated, the 148.75 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 51.13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell rope making and make their living.
