Jawasiya is a small village of 1198 hectares in Gangrar Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jawasiya depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 28.17% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jawasiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jawasiya's pin code is 312901[4], and village code is 03538300. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chittaurgarh and Chittorgarh to sell earthen pot and make their living.
