Jawasiya is a small village of 471 hectares in Bilara Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jawasiya depends on Pipar City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 9.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jawasiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jawasiya's pin code is 342601[4], and village code is 02005100. The area of Jawasiya is segregated as 57.75 hectares irrigated area, 339.25 hectares unirrigated, the 11.95 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 61.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jawasiya is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1714 and has total administration over 335 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pipar City and Jodhpur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
