Jawaharpura is a small village of 1111 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jawaharpura depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jawaharpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jawaharpura's pin code is 342025[4], and village code is 01971700. The area of Jawaharpura is segregated as 270 hectares irrigated area, 779 hectares unirrigated, the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 61 hectare area not available for cultivation.
