Javad Khodadadi Kasanagh (21 September 1975 in Kasanaq) is an Iranian pastry chef.[1]

In 2021, a program published by BBC.[2] had an interview with him titled Javad Khodadadi: Tabrizi pastry chef who became famous for his artistic cakes.

His fame came from artistic cakes which he made and was presented in some TV programs such as Ateseh, Dorehami and Coming Back Home.[3]

He is also known as Iran Cake Father because of the creative and large scale cakes.[4]

One of his famous creations is a cake which was made for Mah-e-Asal (Honeymoon) program which aired every year during Ramadan month. This cake weighed 180kg which was completely edible and was hanging for 10 hours. He is known for his creations of fruit and obejcts that have a likeness to the real object.

Career

Khodadadi has served as a judge in first,[5] second [6] and third [7] Iran Cake Show, an event held by Tehran Union of Confectionery and Café.

Since 1985 he has worked in different confectioneries In Tabriz and Tehran Such as Natli, PAK, Soldoosh.

He is currently working as a trainer and teacher in different institutes such as Qannad Academy which is the official academy of the Tehran union of Confectionery and Cafés in Iran focusing on Cake decoration and French Pastry.
