Jatawala is a small village of 80 hectares in Sanganer Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jatawala depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 30.43% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jatawala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jatawala's pin code is 302029[4], and village code is 01552000. The area of Jatawala is segregated as 30.43 hectares irrigated area, 22.94 hectares unirrigated, the 22.67 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 3.48 hectare area not available for cultivation.
