Jastana is a small village of 1479 hectares in Bonli Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jastana depends on LALSOT, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jastana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jastana's pin code is 322030[4], and village code is 01300700. The area of Jastana is segregated as 817.6 hectares irrigated area, 173.93 hectares unirrigated, the 72.93 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 414.55 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jastana is a census village in the district of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3451 and has total administration over 632 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of LALSOT and Sawai Madhopur to sell ghee and make their living.
