Jaoti Kalan is a small village of 643 hectares in Bundi Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jaoti Kalan depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Jaoti Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jaoti Kalan's pin code is 323803[3], and village code is 02761300. The area of Jaoti Kalan is segregated as 459.24 hectares irrigated area, 10.04 hectares unirrigated, the 73.69 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 100.03 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jaoti Kalan is a census village in the district of Bundi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1519 and has total administration over 278 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell earthen pots and make their living.
