Janwas is a small village of 668 hectares in Jayal Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Janwas depends on Didwana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Janwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Janwas's pin code is 341027[4], and village code is 01792600. The area of Janwas is segregated as 295.94 hectares unirrigated, the 18.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 353.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.
