Janguwas is a small village of 504 hectares in Luni Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Janguwas depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Janguwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Janguwas's pin code is 342801[4], and village code is 02001300. The area of Janguwas is segregated as 392.1 hectares unirrigated, the 106.79 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5.14 hectare area not available for cultivation.
