Janeli Akbarov (Azerbaijani: Canəli Əkbərov), born Əkbərov Canəli Xanəli oğlu (10 march 1940, Lankaran, was an Azerbaijani khananda folk singer.[1][2]

Life and career

Akbarov Janali Khanali oglu was born on March 10, 1940 in Tukavila village of Lankaran region. In 2002 he was awarded the Order of Glory. Janali Akbarov learns the secrets of mugam from his father. After Janali Akbarov is studying music at the Azerbaijan State Music School in Baku.[3]

To learn the rules of mugam singing from teachers Seyid Shushinski and Khan Shushinski and to develop their performance skills. In 1965, Janali Akbarov was a soloist of the State State Philharmonic, and in 1976 he was a soloist of the State State Opera and Ballet Theater.[4]

The singer is not close to one side in mugham operations on this theater stage: Majnun and Ibn-Salam (U.Hajibeyov - "Leyli and Majnun"), Shah Ismayil (M.Magomayev - "Shah Ismayil"), to appear in love (Z.Hajibeyov - " Ashig Garib ") reconciled the images.
