Janari is a small village of 347 hectares in Ballia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Janari depends on Ballia (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Janari's pin code is 277401[4], and village code is 09234200. The area of Janari is segregated as 144 hectares irrigated area, 50 hectares unirrigated area. the 50 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 33 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Janari has One post office (Bharsar S.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Janari has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Ballia (MB) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
