Janany Kunaseelan (born 27 August 2001) is an Sri Lankan Tamil television anchor and actress. She appeared in Star Tamil TV as a television anchor for cooking shows and as an actress for comedy shows like Dak Dik Dos on IBC Tamil. She is known for participating in Bigg Boss Tamil 6.[1]
Early life
Janany was born on the 27th August 2001 in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. She lives with her mum and dad. She also has a younger brother and a younger sister.
Career
In 2021, Janany gained some fame through TikToks and reels. She began to work for IBC Tamil by doing various shows, including food reviews at different restaurants in her home town, Jaffna. In addition, she began to do various comedy shows along with her co-host Lakshana, with the most popular one being Dak Dik Dos. She has also worked as a newsreader as well.
In 2022, She participated in Bigg Boss Tamil 6. She was evicted on the 70th day.[2]
She will make her film debut in the highly anticipated Leo film in 2023.[3]
