Janameri is a small village of 291 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Janameri depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 10.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Janameri is also near by One lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Janameri's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03432100. The area of Janameri is segregated as 137 hectares irrigated area, 113 hectares unirrigated, the 14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 27 hectare area not available for cultivation.
