He has showed off his talent with his first mixtape The Magnet which was rated in the top 10 mixtapes of 2010 and features guest appearances from Pitbull, Justin Timberlake, David Rush, Big Ali, Lil Jon and more. Jamie Drastik is more then a featured artist which he proves on his song "Save Me" featuring Pitbull off his Champagne and Cocaine mixtape where spills his heart out and tells the world exactly what's on his mind.

Early life and career

Jamie Drastik was born in one of the most unique places, upstate New York. That means that he has been exposed to the aftermath of second hand smoke from Woodstock, the dirty hype of New York City, hot stressed out soccer moms, and the occasional cipher outside in front of KFC. Jamie has been obsessed with hip-hop since he was eight years old. By the time he was in high school, Jamie started rapping locally. One day, he was discovered by Pitbull and signed the New York rapper to Mr. 305.

The mixtape landed Jamie exclusive interviews online, including YouTube. On April 7, 2011, Jamie released his second mixtape titled Champagne and Cocaine which features guest appearances from Pitbull, Fat Joe, David Rush and others. Jamie has released music videos off the mixtape for two of the songs, "Raw" and "Four in The Morning". The mixtape landed him some recognition performing one of the tracks at a hotel in Las Vegas and at a nightclub in Miami. One June 17, 2011, Pitbull released the song "Castle Made of Sand" which is dedicated to his mother and features shining vocals from Kelly Rowland and a verse from Jamie Drastik. A promotional video was released on Pitbull's channel only containing the first two verses despite Jamie making a cameo in the video. On August 24, 2011, Jamie Drastik performed "Castle Made of Sand" at the MGM Grand along with his single "Save Me".
