James Toovey, the Founder and Managing Director of Langley James Limited, a prominent recruitment agency in the United Kingdom. He began is career in 1986 with the famous Advertising Agency, Saatch & Saatchi. He earned the distinction of becoming one of their youngest-ever Account Executives. During this time, he worked closely with Sir Stanley Kalms, Baron Kalms, the life president of Currys Plc, on the launch of Currys Superstores which later became PC World.

In 1994, James transitioned into the field of recruitment when he joined The Internet Corporation. It was in 1999 that he established Langley James Limited, a recruitment agency specialising in providing and recruiting internal operations staff for companies in London and across the UK.

Throughout his career, James has demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by establishing and merging two additional companies. First, he founded "1-Ted," a company focused on selling online recruitment advertising space to end clients, facilitating direct recruitment. IT Recruitment Group, which specialised in IT recruitment, including contractors, interim placements, and permanent introductions, primarily serving London-area Head Offices.

James's contributions extend beyond recruitment as he has also provided outplacement services to hundreds of C-Suite executives on behalf of the UK Government and JobCentre +.

Additionally, he served as a key member of the HR Advisory team at Design Reality, an Award-Winning Product Design consultancy established in 2000. Notably, Design Reality was subsequently acquired by Full Support Healthcare in 2021.

Throughout his career, James has maintained a hands-on approach and a passion for training and developing individuals to excel in recruiting the finest talent, both for his own organization and for external clients.
