James Maxey is a UK based solicitor who graduated with LLB Hons from the University of London.[1] in 1994. Maxey worked as a trainee solicitor then a solicitor for GLP Solicitors[2] from 1995- 2000 and went on to found Express Solicitors,[3] a personal injury[4] law firm, in September 2000.

Maxey attained Senior Litigator status at APIL[5] and a variety of Director roles[6] at other companies including MWH Holdings Limited, Mckays EXP Ltd and Accident Law Limited.

At Express Solicitors his aspiration is to grow the firm to an annual turnover of £60 million[7] and staff of 1,000[8] within 5 years. He has led the acquisition of multiple companies by Express Solicitors, including most recently Michael W Halsall Solicitors and Amelans and Jefferies Solicitors[9]
