James Graham Leyburn (January 17, 1902 - 1993) was an American dean, sociology professor, and author. He wrote about subjects including the Haitians and the Scotch-Irish.[1] Washington and Lee University has a collection of his papers.[2]
He was born in Hedgesville, West Virginia.[2] He received an Anisfield-Wolf Book Award for his book on the Haitian people.[3]
