James E. Bish was a state legislator in Illinois. He was one of the Illinois House of Representatives members from Cook County, Illinois. A Republican, he was listed as working in real estate.[1] Democrat Solomon Van Praag (died September 13,1927) contested Bish's election.[2] Bish was represented in the case by Charles Samuel Deneen.[3] Bish served one term.[4]
