Jalwana is a small village of 1388 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jalwana depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jalwana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Jalwana's pin code is 341510[4], and village code is 01843900. The area of Jalwana is segregated as 1202.88 hectares unirrigated, the 159.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 26.34 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jalwana has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Jalwana is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1260 and has total administration over 257 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Merta City and Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
