Jalpiwas is a small village of 178 hectares in Mandawar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jalpiwas depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 118.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jalpiwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jalpiwas's pin code is 301407[4], and village code is 00782100. The area of Jalpiwas is segregated as 118 hectares irrigated area, 38 hectares unirrigated, remaining 22 hectare area not available for cultivation.
