Jaloond is a small village of 750 hectares in Danta Ramgarh Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jaloond depends on Reengus, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 296.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jaloond is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jaloond's pin code is 332601[4], and village code is 01714100. The area of Jaloond is segregated as 296 hectares irrigated area, 330 hectares unirrigated, the 93 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 31 hectare area not available for cultivation.
