Jaliya-I is a small village of 326 hectares in Beawar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jaliya-I depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 64.21% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jaliya-I is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jaliya-I's pin code is 305901[4], and village code is 02518700. The area of Jaliya-I is segregated as 64.21 hectares irrigated area, 202.42 hectares unirrigated, the 32.39 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 27.1 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jaliya-I has One post office (Jalia-i B.O) and Two public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Jaliya-I is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1608 and has total administration over 313 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
