Jalipa is a small village of 1876 hectares in Barmer Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jalipa depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jalipa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jalipa's pin code is 344001[4], and village code is 02213300. The area of Jalipa is segregated as 1359.34 hectares unirrigated, remaining 516.91 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
