Jalampura is a small village of 1163 hectares in Mandal Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jalampura depends on Gulabpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 52.08% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jalampura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jalampura's pin code is 311804[4], and village code is 02802600. The area of Jalampura is segregated as 119.05 hectares irrigated area, 274.01 hectares unirrigated, the 589.15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 180.81 hectare area not available for cultivation.
