Jal Beri is a small village of 731 hectares in Gudha Malani Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jal Beri depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 50.85% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jal Beri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Jal Beri's pin code is 344704[4], and village code is 02174500. The area of Jal Beri is segregated as 202 hectares irrigated area, 500.15 hectares unirrigated, remaining 29 hectare area not available for cultivation.
