Jakholi Khurd is a small village of 242 hectares in Hindoli Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jakholi Khurd depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jakholi Khurd is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jakholi Khurd's pin code is 323024[3], and village code is 02707000. The area of Jakholi Khurd is segregated as 51 hectares irrigated area, 13 hectares unirrigated, the 160 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
