Jajasani is a small village of 235 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jajasani depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jajasani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jajasani's pin code is 341513[4], and village code is 01844700. The area of Jajasani is segregated as 58.6 hectares irrigated area, 157.35 hectares unirrigated, the 8.15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.2 hectare area not available for cultivation.
