Jailampura is a small village of 218 hectares in Dausa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jailampura depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 138.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jailampura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jailampura's pin code is 303004[4], and village code is 01407100. The area of Jailampura is segregated as 138 hectares irrigated area, 8 hectares unirrigated, the 41 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 31 hectare area not available for cultivation.
