Jai Shree is a small village of 159 hectares in Manohar Thana Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jai Shree depends on Aklera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jai Shree is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jai Shree's pin code is 326037[4], and village code is 04078900. The area of Jai Shree is segregated as 3.92 hectares irrigated area, 61.78 hectares unirrigated, the 60.64 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 14.22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Aklera and Jhalawar to sell bricks and make their living.
