Jahidpura is a small village of 306 hectares in Kotputli Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jahidpura depends on Kotputli, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 89.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jahidpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jahidpura's pin code is 303108[4], and village code is 01454600. The area of Jahidpura is segregated as 157 hectares irrigated area, 124 hectares unirrigated, the 5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20 hectare area not available for cultivation.
