Jahanpura is a small village of 531 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jahanpura depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jahanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jahanpura's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03441400. The area of Jahanpura is segregated as 58.33 hectares irrigated area, 336 hectares unirrigated, the 32 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 104.59 hectare area not available for cultivation.
