Jagdish Devda is a cabinet minister in Madhya Pradesh[1] state government and was a member of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing Malhargadh constituency of Mandsaur eight times. He took oath as a cabinet minister of the new MP government on 02 July 2020 as the Minister of Finance, Planning, statics, excise and economics Department under CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan's Cabinet formation.
Biography
Shri Jagdish Deora was born on 01 July 1957 in Rampura district Neemuch. He has done post-graduation (MA Economics) and LL.B. Shri Deora was elected a member of the Ninth Assembly in the year 1990 and the Tenth Assembly in the year 1993. Shri Deora was elected a Member of the Twelfth Legislative Assembly in the year 2003 and was made Minister of State, Home, School Education and Energy and then Public Health Engineering and Labor, Tribal and Scheduled Caste Welfare. Shri Deora was elected a member of the Legislative Assembly for the fourth time in the year 2008 and was made the Transport, Jail and Home Minister. Shri Deora was also elected as MLA in the year 2013. Shri Jagdish Deora was re-elected from Malhargarh Assembly constituency in the year 2018. Shri Deora took the oath of minister[2] on July 2, 2020 in the cabinet of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
