Jagatpura is a small village of 64 hectares in Karauli Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jagatpura depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Jagatpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jagatpura's pin code is 322255[4], and village code is 01219700. The area of Jagatpura is segregated as 4.39 hectares irrigated area, 31.12 hectares unirrigated, remaining 28.28 hectare area not available for cultivation.
