Italian National Championship

At the age of 8, in 2014, Jacopo participated for the first time in a national championship, of Italy, with the Phantom team, where he finished the season in 8th place overall. In 2015, the Romanian rider participated in the same championship, but in a higher category, the year in which the team in which Jacopo (Phantom) participated abandoned the competitive season for technical reasons. In 2016, doing two championships at the same time (the one of Romania and the one of Italy), the young romanian participated in the Italian PreMiniGP championship, where he finished the season in 3rd place. In 2017, Jacopo promoted to the MiniGP championship, where he finished the season in 8th place. Taking a big step, at the age of 12, in 2018, the Romanian rider switched to a 125cc, two-stroke motorcycle, competing in the Italian National Championship (CIV), in the PreMoto3 class, with the Flash Motors (Honda) team, finishing the season in second place, much to the delight of many, this being his first year on such a bike. In 2019, at the age of 13, he took an even bigger step, switching to a 250cc, 4-stroke motorcycle, competing in the same Italian championship with the AcademyGP team and finishing the season in 5th place. In 2020, Jacopo Hosciuc performed a wildcard in the Moto3 category, the most important in the Italian championship, where he ranked 13th.
