Jacob Ward is an American actor. He is best known for his role in Somewhere in Queens as Matthew "Sticks" Russo (2023).

Career

Ward made his feature film debut in 2023, playing the lead role of Matthew "Sticks" Russo in Ray Romano's directorial debut Somewhere in Queens.[1] The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 10, 2022, and released in theaters on April 21, 2023.[2] Ward starred alongside Romano, Laurie Metcalf, Sebastian Maniscalco, Tony Lo Bianco, and Sadie Stanley, playing Romano and Metcalf's son. The film garnered favorable reviews, as did Ward's performance.[3] Deadline critic Pete Hammond found Ward's work "understated and terrific."[4] Patrick Gibbs of SLUG Magazine stated that, "he should be a dark horse Oscar contender for this breakthrough performance."[5]
