Jacob Slater[1](born September 1997) is the lead singer and guitarist of English rock band Wunderhorse. He also featured as frontman and guitarist in the now defunct band Dead Pretties[2] and released a solo album, ‘Pinky, I Love You’, on 4th August 2023 via Communion.[3] Slater has cited Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Elliott Smith and Morphine as musical influences.
Life
Slater left home at age 17 and moved to London to pursue a career in music. He then went onto meet Oscar Browne and the now drummer in FEET[4], Ben Firth and formed the short-lived punk outfit Dead Pretties. The band released three singles[5] before disbanding in 2017.[6]
