Early Life and Education

Wuttke was born in Kraichgau, in Baden-Württemberg, and later attended the Max-Weber-Schule in nearby Sinsheim. After his bachelor's degree in business administration and management at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, he traveled extensively and first visited China on 29 August 1982, crossing the China–Mongolia border after a long trip through the Soviet Union.

Career

Wuttke's professional career has been marked by significant roles in the global business landscape. He first professionally came to China in 1988 to take on the role of finance and administration manager of the Swiss robotics conglomerate ABB. Later he joined BASF, a leading German chemical company, where he has held various positions.
