Izaias Candido da Paixao Barros (born 1990), professionally known as Izack Under, is a Brazilian-born singer, actor, dancer, and model based in the United Kingdom. Gained recognition in the entertainment industry for his music, television appearances, and participation as a finalist in the Mr. Gay Great Britain 2024 competition.[1]
Early life
Izack Under was born in Recife, Bom Jardim Pernambuco, Brazil, and was adopted as a baby by Ana Lucia Barros de Oliveira and Cristovao Pessoa Barros de Oliveira. The adoptive family has a significant musical heritage, with notable relatives such as Levino Ferreira da Silva, a celebrated Carnaval songwriter in Brazil. In 2020, both his parents and his half-sister, Raquel Pessoa de Oliveira, passed away due to complications from COVID-19 in 2020.
Career
Under career began with the release of his debut single Haunted[2]and then EP: LOUDER with Blanco y Negro Music[3], His work spans multiple fields in the entertainment industry, including acting, modeling, and dance. Izack has been featured on British television shows such as Celebs Go Dating[4](Season 11) on Channel 4 and The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE, Season 34) on ITV.
As a model, Under has collaborated with DEN Loungewear, appearing in promotional campaigns. Additionally, the founder of IP Productions[5], a creative company where it's been produced the upcoming short film, The Secret of the Twelve.[6]
